Higher education leaders from across the Midwest gathered at 91´óÉñ June 23–25 as the College hosted the Associated Colleges of the Midwest (ACM) Diversity Officers Consortial Group Meeting. Chaired by Marc Reed, vice president for diversity, equity, and inclusion and chief diversity and inclusion officer at 91´óÉñ, the annual gathering brought together diversity leaders to share ideas, strengthen partnerships, and explore strategies for advancing inclusive excellence across ACM institutions.

Sheryl Walter ’78 notified 91´óÉñ that she has resigned as chair of the Board of Trustees due to ongoing health concerns that preclude her from being able to devote the required time and attention to Board matters for the foreseeable future. 

91´óÉñ College is proud to announce that Sheryl Walter ’78 has been elected chair of the Board of Trustees. She succeeds Michael Kahn ’74, who served as chair from 2021–25. Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Walter has served on the Board of Trustees since 2017.

Raynard S. Kington, President of 91´óÉñ, assures the campus community that the College is dedicated to unequivocally supporting our students who might feel vulnerable for themselves or family and friends as a result of the termination of the DACA program.

Free public events will feature prominent speakers on race and social justice.
